
Randy Brockette, Vocals | Bass & Dobro
Born & raised in the Nashville, Tennessee area, Randy is no stranger to life on
the road. He has played in venues most of his adult life, in Venues like Caesars
Palace, 4 different House of Blues, Black Diamond Cafe in Memphis and
Bourbon Street Blues Bar in Nashville.
Randy has been very fortunate to have played with Artists such as Michael
Holloway, April Holbrooke, Roguie Ray, Tammy Graham and Billy Joe Royal.
He has appeared with Steve Cropper, Robert Cray, Etta James, Delbert
McClinton and the immortal B.B. King to name a few. His travels all across the
country include venues from Nashville to New Orleans, Chicago to Houston
and Miami to Las Vegas.
Playing styles include Rock, Country, Bluegrass and a little Jazz, but his love
of music is deeply embedded in Blues. His primary instrument through the
years has been Bass Guitar but he also can be seen playing Blues on his Slide
Dobro and some Acoustic Guitar as well.
He moved to Ohio in 2014 and almost immediately met Andy & Brad in a
chance encounter at the Desert Inn in Canton and after an impromptu
performance of Amie by Pure Prairie League, they all knew a harmony vocal
band was in the works. We hope you enjoy our songs and our style and most of
all, we hope you leave our show well entertained.
Andy Scassa, Vocals | Guitar & Ukulele
Andy started playing accordian at the young age of seven, which honed his skills for the future. he fell in love with the guitar shortly thereafter. He played in a variety of local bands for years, which was mostly rock and blues, playing with Brad Harper (Wing It Guitarist) in a band called “Bluesmakers” for close to ten years. Then in 2014 he met Randy Brockette in a Bellstore in Brewster and shortly after “Wing It” was born!
He says “My lifelong dream was to be in a vocal harmony band, and now it has finally happened. We hope you all enjoy our music!”
Brad Harper, Vocals | Guitar
Brad Harper has been a lead guitarist, playing clubs and events in Ohio as well as most of the Eastern United States since the early 1970s. He has played in club rock bands such as The Clean Slate Band, The Zone and various Southern Rock bands like Heartland, Spellbound and The Buffalo Rose Trio. He had provided solid contributing vocals, singing lead as well as harmony vocals, displayed in acoustic trios such as Glass Onion (featuring material by The Beatles and The Eagles) and with Buffalo Rose Trio.
Currently you can see his work in both Lead and Harmony Vocals with this Acoustic band Wing It. Brad also plays segments of the show in a solo capacity, performing songs by such artists as Steven Stills, James Taylor and so many others. Come and check him out; You’ll be glad you did!
